Nhậu is the Vietnamese art of drinking well by eating well — small plates that keep arriving, glasses that keep filling, conversations that run long past the last round.
We do it the way it's done on the street corners of Sài Gòn: food from the charcoal, sauces with bite, and nothing so big you can't order one more thing. Walk in with two mates or book a long table. Either way, come hungry and stay thirsty.
Tai's story

More than forty-five years ago, Tai left Vietnam in a boat that was sinking beneath him. He reached Australia carrying little more than the way his family cooked.
In his wildest dreams he never thought this country would come to love the food he grew up on. It has. Hưng Long — the prosperous dragon — is that dream made real: his family's recipes, cooked the way they've always been cooked, for the people of Perth.
